Konzepttreffen der solidarischen Energieversorgung
Am Donnerstag, den 17. Oktober 2013, findet um 18 Uhr im Karoshi (Gießbergstraße 41-47) in Kassel ein erstes Konzepttreffen zur solidarischen Energieversorgung (SolE) statt. Alle interessierten Menschen sind herzlich eingeladen!
„SolE“ – für eine dezentrale, basisdemokratische und autonome Energieversorgung
In den letzten Jahren sind eine Vielzahl an Energiegenossenschaften entstanden, die sich die Bekämpfung des Klimawandels und die Errichtung von erneuerbaren Energieerzeugungsanlagen zum Ziel gesetzt haben. Der Fokus dieser Genossenschaften liegt oft nicht auf der Abdeckung des Strombedarfs der Mitglieder, sondern der Beteiligungsanreiz wird durch eine rentable Rendite für das Investitionskapital geschaffen.
Die LINKE nähert sich den Commons
Bei den LINKEN geht nichts ohne die heilige Eigentumsfrage. So auch bei ihrer Annäherung an die Commons. Und da geschieht in nächster Zeit einiges. Die Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung plant interessante Veranstaltungen:
- 8.-11.11.2013: Internationaler Workshop »Beyond Ostrom« in der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung.
- 16.11.2013: Tagung »Die Eigentumsfrage heute« in der Hellen Panke / Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Berlin, worin es auch um »Neue emanzipatorische Ansätze und Praxen in der Eigentumsfrage« (mit Friederike Habermann und Benni Bärmann) gehen soll.
- 1.12.2013: Einreichungsschluss für Beiträge zum Hundersten Geburtstag der Erstausgabe von Rosa Luxemburgs »Die Akkumulation des Kapitals«, worin sie das Konzept der »Landnahme« (aka: »Enclosure of the Commons«) als Voraussetzung für die Reproduktion des Kapitals entwickelt.
- 7.-9.3.2014: Internationaler Workshop zu eben jenem Thema, wobei die zuvor genannten Texte als Grundlage dienen.
Da ich bereits bei anderen Veranstaltungen teilnehme, kann ich leider (1) und (2) nicht wahrnehmen. Ich werde mich aber mit einem Beitrag zu Rosa Luxemburgs »Landnahme« beteiligen und voraussichtlich am Workshop im nächsten Jahr teilnehmen.
Bremen: Umsonstladen gekündigt – Umsonstladen bleibt!
Dem Umsonstladen Bremen ist am 16.7.2013 gekündigt worden – mitten im Sommerloch. Schon zum 31.8. soll der Umsonstladen aus den Räumen in der Gellertstr. 85 (nahe Kornstraße in der Neustadt, 28201 Bremen) ausziehen!
Johann vom Umsonstladen Bremen erklärt:
Wegen der Kündigung machen wir jetzt jeden Dienstag 16 Uhr im Umsonstladen ein offenes Krisenplenum, um die Aktivitäten zu koordinieren – komm vorbei oder melde dich, wenn du uns unterstützen willst! Machen wir Aktionen? Welche Ausweichmöglichkeiten gibt es?
Gehen wir zum 31.8.? Wie gehen wir mit der Kündigung um? Wie gestalten wir die weitere Öffentlichkeitsarbeit? Wer hilft wie mit?
Vielleicht ist die Situation ja sogar eine Chance, neue und alte Pläne anzugehen und umzusetzen. Wir freuen uns auf eure Ideen, Rückmeldungen und … und auch nach 7 Jahren Umsonstladen in Bremen:

SolE – solidarische Energieversorgung
Eine Konzeptidee für eine dezentrale, basisdemokratische und autonome Energieversorgung

In Zeiten hitziger Strompreisdebatten und politischer Rahmenbedingungen, die weiterhin die bestehenden zentralistischen Strukturen der Energieversorgung erhalten; in Zeiten, in denen die großen Energieversorger Milliardengewinne verkünden und mehr in ihr grünes Image investieren als in eine tatsächliche Umsetzung einer 100%igen Versorgung mit Erneuerbaren Energien; in Zeiten, in denen Deutschland mit dem rheinischen Braunkohlerevier weiterhin über Europas größte CO2-Quelle verfügt; in Zeiten, in denen konventionell erzeugter Strom mit Zertifikaten zu Ökostrom umetikettiert wird – ist es Zeit nach ganz konkreten Alternativen im Hier und Jetzt zu suchen und mögliche Wege in eine regenerative, basisdemokratische und selbstbestimmte Energieversorgung aufzeigen.

Internet Movement and Cybernetic Subversion

One would have to be pretty naïve to assume that a new social movement, under the impact of the crisis, would immediately commence with a radical critique of the commodity production system. It is, rather, more likely that such a perspective can only be mediated by a public debate and by conceptual discussions in the midst of the social struggles and conflicts themselves. One does not start from zero, however. In societies in crisis, there are diverse initiatives for a “cheap economy” which, however, are still in the infant stage. These hardly do justice to a kind of reproduction “that transcends the market and the State”, since in most cases they rely on State (municipal) subsidies or else are restricted to creating enterprises based on the most basic developmental forms of the market and the State.
Disconnection from Commodity Production

So how is a “natural microelectronic economy” possible as an embryonic form? The difficulty consists in the fact that the capitalist form of the functional division of society, as in the case of the capitalist structure of use value, cannot be assimilated, without alterations, into an emancipatory reproduction. The personnel of an enterprise which, for example, produces ships, cannot emancipate themselves, such as they are, from the social form of value. Since they do not consume the ships and cannot satisfy their own needs with the means of production of their enterprise, and since, at the same time, the specific production of their enterprise is incorporated into a capitalist system of division of labor, they remain dependent on the production of commodities, with all the familiar social consequences.
The Supersession of Private Property in the Means of Production

The modified or “superseded” notion of the productive forces and its connection to the relations of production is obviously the precondition for solving the real problem: the supersession of the form of fetishistic value in social relations. On this point it is also necessary, first of all, to bridge the gap between the reductive conceptions, immanent to the system, of the Marxism of the workers movement and that of the alternative movement or the cooperatives. As in the question of the productive forces, we see these movements evincing a speculative and complementary attachment to fetishistic structures. Both political Marxism and the alternative movement reduce their goal to a critique and a supersession of private property in the means of production, although in different ways. When, however, one speaks of the institution, “private property”, it is clear that one is dealing with a moment of the commodity production system, i.e., of its juridical form. It is thus clear that this moment cannot be overcome alone, without overcoming the other moments of the value form and even the latter itself as such. The attempt to eliminate private property in the means of production and at the same time to maintain the forms of mediation of the commodity and money, can only lead to social paradoxes.
The Concept of the Productive Forces and the Microelectronic Revolution

If we are not to allow ourselves to be confused by the past, we have to attempt to elaborate socioeconomic definitions of an embryonic form, beyond commodity production, at the current level of socialization, without falling into a vulgar practicality. It is thus not by any means a matter of direct plans of action (which can only be developed, furthermore, within the context of a social movement), but of theoretical and practical reflections to concretize the critique of value. The question of the embryonic form of a reproduction no longer mediated by monetary and commercial relations has to be approached historically, analytically and theoretically.
