		<description>Obviously, peer production can save lots of resources. Think of the waste accrued by the fact that nearly everything that is produced today is developed maybe tenfold in the big development departments the world over (the actual number might be a bit lower, thanks to industrial espionage :-) ). Or the immense capacities used for financial transactions, everything that is called &quot;business&quot; today, the justice system enforcing the property regime, etc. Seeing this inefficiency, on starts to think that scrapping capitalism might be the only necessary step to land directly in post-scarcity :-)

		<description>Great analysis.  IMHO P2P won&#039;t work if based on the post-scarcity paradigm in the sense of &quot;there is as much as everbody wishes&quot;. But post-scarcity is still valuable as attitude: &quot;there is enough for everyones needs&quot;.</description>
